அன்பானவர்களே!!! நாம் இந்த உலகத்தில் வாழும் வாழ்க்கையில் நமக்கு எது முக்கியம் என்று தெரியாமல் அநேக காரியங்களில் தலையிட்டு சில சமயங்களில் நமக்கு நாமே எதிரி என்று சொல்லும் அளவுக்கு நம் எண்ணங்களும்,செயல்களும்,சில நேரங்களில் பொல்லாதவனவாக மாறிவிடுகிறது. அதனால்தான் நம்முடைய தூய ஆவியார் நமது வலுவற்ற நிலையில் நமக்கு துணை நிற்கிறார். ஏனெனில் எதற்காக, எப்படி நாம் இறைவனிடம் வேண்டுவது என்று நமக்குத் தெரியாது. தூய ஆவியார் தாமே சொல் வடிவம் பெறமுடியாத நம்முடைய பெருமூச்சுகளின் வாயிலாக நமக்காக பரிந்து பேசுகிறார். உள்ளங்களை துருவி ஆயும் கடவுள் தூயஆவியாரின் மனநிலையை அறிவதால் கடவுளுக்கு உகந்த முறையில் நமக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்கிறார். நாம் செய்ய வேண்டிய காரியத்தை நமக்கு தெளிவாக புரியவைக்கிறார். ரோமையர் 8:26-27 . ஒருசில நேரங்களில் நாம் வேண்டிக்கொள்வது நமக்கு கிடைக்காத பட்சத்தில் நம் மனம் சோர்ந்து போகிறோம். இல்லை பிரியமானவர்களே!! அதைவிட மேலான பெரிய காரியத்தை தரும்படிக்கே கடவுள் சமயத்தில் நாம் கேட்டதை உடனே கொடுப்பதில்லை. அதைப்பெற்றுக்கொள்ள நம்மை தகுதி படுத்துவார்....

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the oldest members of our families and society. We pray that Your presence comforts them in their loneliness. Keep them focused on You, rather than on their aches and anxieties. We pray specially for those who are sick. Watch over our parents and grandparents, Oh Jesus. May they have angels for their aid whenever they are alone. Amen.
