Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You babies and children who are suffering and in pain. Heal their emotional and physical wounds, Lord. When they cry out, may Your angels rush to their aid and soothe their brows. Give them the assurance that You are carrying them in Your precious arms. When tears flow, give their families Your love and grace. Forgive us adults for the neglect of the children in our world. May no child go to bed feeling the despair of suffering tonight. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all the women who love us, pray for us, live with us, care for us and help mould us daily into what we are. We thank You Lord, for our wives, mothers, friends, daughters, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, nieces and colleagues. May Your love sustain them, all their lives, in a special way. We women pray for the grace to live God’s love better in this world. May women folk in our families, churches, organisations and societies get the respect and care they deserve. Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You those among us who are struggling in our marriages. We pray that husbands and wives will truly and sincerely love, honour and cherish this special gift from You. Let forgiveness and humility take the place of resentment and ego. May homes be filled with the power and grace of God and may any hurts be washed away by Your precious blood. May their children experience Your healing touch too. Bind these couples together with the eternal cords of Your love. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You taught us about love. But to some, love is manifested as lust. We pray for our brothers and sisters living in the bondage of sexual sin, especially the ones who live it in secret and have no qualms about it. May they have the courage and integrity to recognise their folly and fight it, with Your grace. Pour forth Your Spirit on each one of us so that we may never fall into this evil. Protect our own and our children from being preys to this too. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us who are travelling. We pray that You will keep each one of us safe and protected by Your constant care when we move from one place to another. Give us travelling mercies. Keep our loved ones who are on the move by air, road or water, safe from death, disease or catastrophes. May Your angels surround us now and forever – right from the time we step out to make our journey and to the time when we are back. Amen.
