He begins his Gospel proclaiming “Jesus Christ, the Son of God” (Mk 1:1). He divides his Gospel into two parts. திருப்பாடல் 89: 1 – 2, 5 – 6, 15 – 16 கடவுள் நீதியுள்ளவர் என்று விவிலியம் முழுமைக்குமாக பார்க்கிறோம். கடவுளுடைய நீதி இந்த உலக நீதி போன்றது அல்ல. ஏனென்றால், கடவுள் உள்ளத்தையும் ஊடுருவிப்பார்க்கக்கூடியவர். ஆராய்ந்து அறிந்து செயல்படக்கூடியவர். மனிதரைப்போன்று வெளித்தோற்றத்தை வைத்து, ஒருவரை தீர்ப்பிடக்கூடியவர் அல்ல.கடவுளுடைய நீதிக்கும் மனிதர்களுடைய நீதிக்கும் மிகப்பெரிய வேறுபாடு உள்ளது. மனிதர்கள் பதவிக்காக, பணசுகத்திற்காக, நீதி என்கிற பெயரில் அநீதியை வழங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். இங்கே யார் பணபலத்தில் சிறந்து விளங்குகிறார்களோ, அவர்கள் நீதியை தங்களுக்கு ஏற்ப வளைத்துவிடுகிறார்கள். ஆனால், கடவுளிடத்தில் அப்படி செய்ய முடியாது. இந்த உலகத்தின் பார்வையில் இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுக்கு நீதி என்பது கிடைக்க முடியாத ஒன்று. அவர்கள் நீதிக்காக போராட வலிமை படைத்தவர்களாகவும் இல்லை. நீதியைக் கேட்டுப்பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் நிலையிலும் இல்லை. அவர்களுக்கு நீதி வழங்கக்கூடியவர்கள் யாரும் இல்லை. ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் சாதாரணமான மக்கள். எளிய மக்கள். அடித்தட்டு மக்கள். பாமர...

திருப்பாடல் 27: 1, 4, 13 – 14 ஒருவரின் உள்ளத்தில் கவலையும் கலக்கமும் எழுகிறபோது, பலவிதமான கேள்விகள் உள்ளத்தில் தோன்றுகிறது. கடவுள் இருக்கிறாரா? அப்படி இருந்தால் இவ்வளவு கவலைகள் நமது வாழ்க்கையில் வருமா? இந்த கேள்விகள் எல்லாருக்கும் தோன்றாது. மாறாக, கடவுளுக்கு பயந்து வாழக்கூடிய ஒரு சிலருடைய வாழ்வில் நிச்சயம் இது தோன்றும். இந்த கேள்விகள் எழக்கூடிய தருணங்கள் கடினமான, கடுமையான தருணங்கள். காரணம், நம்பிக்கை இழக்கக்கூடிய தருணங்களில் மற்றவர்களின் வழிகாட்டுதல் இல்லையென்றால், அது கடவுள் நம்பிக்கையோ சீர்குலைத்துவிடும். இப்படிப்பட்ட மோசமான தருணத்தில் தான், திருப்பாடல் ஆசிரியரும் இருக்கிறார். அவருடைய உள்ளத்தில் பலவிதமான கேள்விகள் தோன்றுகிறது. அவைகளுக்கு அவரால் பதில் சொல்லி சமாளிக்க முடியவில்லை. என்ன செய்வது? எப்படி இந்த கேள்விகளுக்கு பதில் சொல்வது என்கிற ஏக்கம் அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளில் வெளிப்படுவதை நம்மால் உணர முடியும். இந்த கேள்விகளுக்கெல்லாம் பதிலாக அவர், ”காத்திரு” என்கிற பதிலை கண்டுபிடிக்கிறார். தன்னுடைய உள்ளத்தை...

“Taste and see how good the Lord is.” —Psalm 34:9 At each Mass, Jesus offers us His Body and Blood in the Eucharistic feast. The Church, through the voice of the psalmist, invites us to taste and see how good the Eucharistic Lord is (Ps 34:9).
