Lord Jesus, today – this Good Friday – we bring to your our sins that took You to the cross. The anger, the greed, the unforgiving nature, the arrogance, our harsh behaviour, bitter words, greed, neglect of the family, unwillingness to help our brethren, alcoholism, lying, cheating, gossip, abortion, wrong relationships, adultery and sexual sins, addictive sins and everything else that You alone are fully aware of. Lord, only Your Holy Spirit can heal us and make us new creations. We humbly kneel at the foot of Your rugged cross this day and plead Your blood of forgiveness over ourselves...

Lord Jesus, today we pray for love -Your kind of gentle, giving, honest, consistent and sacrificial love to fill our hearts and lives. Thank You for Your love that surpasses all human understanding; the love which is food and medicine to our souls. Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us who have faced emotional, sexual or physical abuse. Children who have been tortured, women who have had their dignity stripped off and men who have been insulted. When our brethren suffer, Lord, surround them with Your angels. A prayer for those who have done the cruel acts – have mercy on them and help the victims forgive completely. May Your love bring total healing – the kind that only Your Holy Spirit can give us. Amen
