Today, we pray for the elderly

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the oldest members of our families and society. We pray that Your presence comforts them in their loneliness. Keep them focused on You, rather than on their aches and anxieties. We pray specially for those who are living alone. Watch over our parents and grandparents, Oh Jesus. May they have angels for their aid whenever they are alone. Help us too to serve them well, all their lives, without leaving that important responsibility to others. Amen.

Today, we pray for those in pain

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those of us who are suffering. Many of our brothers and sisters are in physical and emotional bondage. We pray that Your Word will become the solace they need. We pray that Christians around the world do not merely talk the talk, but walk the walk – to soothe others who are hurting and right now, as time is running out. Today, we pray for the helpless

Lord Jesus. today we pray for those among us caught up in helpless situations. Grief, health crisis, relationship issues, stress, family problems, work struggles, sinful bondage, abuse and financial lows – only You can deliver us from these, sweet Jesus. May Your power flow into these areas and more, bringing healing, comfort and joy. We pray for redemption. We pray for timely angels to be rushed to our side. More than anything, let us have the assurance and the peace from Your Holy Spirit. Amen.

The many tears, the countless unanswered prayers, the rejection, the insults, the endless waiting for a miracle from heaven – we surrender them all to You, Lord; not with anger, but with true submission and humility. We identify ourselves with Your apostles and Mother Mary, who waited and mourned before that glorious resurrection Sunday. Lord Jesus, turn our worst disappointments into Your biggest miracles. Amen.

Today, we pray for those from other faiths

Lord Jesus, we pray for everyone who is not a Christian – our brothers and sisters who are walking the journey of life beside us, loving us and helping us, but not knowing You. We pray the Holy Spirit’s love saturates us so much that they see You in us. May we become Your voice, touch and hands to all. Help us to live sincere to You alone, even unto death. Let the man-made walls of religion come down. May nothing that the devil plants, separate us. A special prayers for Christians who live in disagreement and discord within various...
