Lord Jesus, today we bring to Your presence – our pregnant wives, sisters, mothers and friends – and their spouses. We pray that each of these men and women are mightily anointed to become Godly Christian parents who know that the baby is growing in the mothers’ womb and the fathers’ hearts. We pray that their babies are blessed. May the men who are to provide care and love, do so, with Your special touch. Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You our children. They are our most precious gifts from You and we need the grace to raise them well, ensuring they have the best in life – beginning with the right knowledge of You. We pray that Your angels will watch over these precious treasures of our family. May their spirits, souls and bodies be protected from any harm or evil. Be with them Lord Jesus, even when we cannot. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are mentally unstable. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name we pray that they will be delivered and saved from destruction. Let schizophrenia, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, fear, psychosis, neurosis, depression and all kinds of mental illness be routed from our families and communities. Let these people never harm themselves or others. Let them be set free from all emotional bondages, forever. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You those among us who have a lukewarm relationship with You and people. Lord, You said that those who are neither hot nor cold would be spat out. We pray that we really begin to live out our Christian faith with love, passion, freedom and grace. May we also never become blind followers of the blind, but exercise Your wisdom and caution, when facing challenges in our faith walk. Bring Your Spirit alive in us – every day – give us a fresh anointing of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You are all about love, mercy and justice. When the world brands a person as a black sheep, please hold his or her hand. The moment when one of us is labelled something evil or judged wrongly by our own, may Your angels rush to our aid. To lift us up and to give us grace and courage.
