Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You those among us who have left the church, especially the ones who left because of our judgmental attitude, rifts, wounds and struggles within the church. Lord, we Christians ask your forgiveness that we have been at times like the Pharisees of Your times, turning people away with our self-righteousness. Lord Jesus, on this day we specially lift unto You all the widowed across the world. Lord, the loss of ones beloved is one of the most painful experiences of life. We ask You to look kindly on all widows and widowers. As they struggle through loneliness, keep them in Your tight embrace. Keep them always protected and never let their emotions or sexuality be abused. For those who are still not able to overcome the shock of having lost their beloved, we pray that Your hands of healing might be upon their tender hearts right this moment onwards. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us and our families and dear ones, who are now in a critical state. Only You, the Divine Healer, can give people the complete and instant healing for our spirits, souls and bodies. We pray that Your Spirit rouses the ill ones and comforts those who are in pain over them. May no one go away from Your presence, unhappy or suffering. Heal the sick, sweet Jesus. May our lives become great witnesses of Your healing touch. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today, we pray that You will protect Your men and women in military service. We pray for truth, justice and human rights in the battle field. May our spouses, parents, brothers, sisters and friends who are risking their lives for our motherland, be blessed in a special way today. We pray for their spiritual walk, good health and longevity. May Your love sustain and encourage them through dark, anxious and lonely hours. We pray for the strengthening of their families and loved ones, facing daily challenges, while awaiting their return. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You each and every person who has broken our hearts, injured us physically or emotionally or hurt our dear ones. Lord, we make a decision to forgive, now give us the grace. Please take hold of each pieces of our shattered hearts and make them whole again. Pour forth Your Spirit and give us the healing that we need so badly. Wipe our tears tonight, when we are totally alone in this pain. A special prayers for the ones who have harmed us in secret.
