Lord Jesus, we surrender to You today, the members of our extended family. We pray that illnesses and strife within our homes are healed and relationships are washed in Your Precious Blood and mended. May we learn to love them as our own, just as You decided they should be our family. Bless our dear ones to come closer to You and to each other. Heal the negative. May we always bless and never curse each other. Let Your love flow into and through our family tree daily. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we pray today for little children who are struggling to understand You and Your working in our tough, unfair world. We pray that our children are touched by Your Holy Spirit, so that they understand how to obey and honour You, even when life gives them tough knocks. Be with them every moment and send Your angels to aid them when they are in emotional, physical or spiritual danger. May they become real children of Your light. We give You complete control of our childrens’ lives right now, Lord Jesus. Claim them as Your own, forever and ever....

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You each man, woman and child, who is facing death today. We pray that Your Spirit strengthens and calms them, when they enter the valley of death. May each one of them receive the grace to know Your presence, the comfort of Your angels and have a peaceful death. Give Your grace to those who are holding them and grieving, when they cross the barrier. May none of our dear ones die violent or untimely deaths and may we never have to face death in fear or in loneliness, without someone holding our hands. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we bring to You those who have really reached the end of their tether. For those of us who want to give up on our faith, church-going, family life, relationships, work, friendships, ministry or any other task entrusted to us. We lift each one of us today to Your Presence in a special way, for that anointing and grace which only You can give. Send us angels to help us, Lord. When we face harsh judgement, loneliness, illness and rejection, let us know that its not from You, but from Your creations or the evil one. Give us...

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You those among us who are struggling in our marriages. We pray that husbands and wives will truly be committed and sincerely love, honour and cherish this special gift from You. Let care, forgiveness and humility take the place of resentment and ego. May homes be filled with the power and grace of God and may all hurts be washed away by Your precious blood. May their children experience Your healing touch too. Bind these couples together with the eternal cords of Your love. Amen.
