Today, we pray for those in debt

Lord Jesus, today we pray for the grace to be free from debt. Lord, help us to honour You first with our money. Whatever we earn, let the first fruits be Yours. May our brothers and sisters who are facing debts, loans, mortgages, crisis situations or loss of jobs – be helped in time, by Your angels. Give us financial blessings. Amen.

Today, we pray for travellers

Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us who are travelling. We pray that You will keep each one of us safe and protected by Your constant care when we move from one place to another. Give us travelling mercies. Keep our loved ones who are on the move by air, road or water, safe from death, disease or catastrophes. May Your angels surround us now and forever – right from the time we step out to make our journey and to the time when we are back. Amen.

Today, we pray for our leaders

Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You leaders of our churches, countries, organisations and homes. We pray that they are fine men and women who always listen to their conscience and have the guts to obey it, whatever may be the price. May Your Holy Spirit be with them every step of the way, building groups and people, not breaking them. Bring Your qualities of mercy, justice and honesty into their daily lifestyles. Strengthen those of us who are called to be leaders. Amen.

Today, we pray for the grace to know You

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our lack of trust in You. The fear, the doubt and the torment that we inflict upon ourselves, not knowing about even one iota of Your love for us. Lord, may we come to know Your love, even though it can never be completely known. May we never raise our thoughts, words or actions against You. Bless us to become truly Your children who know You. Amen.

Today, we pray for everyone who has asked us for prayers

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You people who have ever requested our prayer support. The friend, the member of the family, the acquaintance, the colleague, the neighbour, the religious and the stranger – we bring them all to the foot of Your cross today, seeking that Your mighty Holy Spirit will touch them, heal their hearts and refresh their spirits. Answer their needs today, whatever they may be, Oh Jesus. May they clearly know today that no prayer returns unanswered. Bless them and their own. Thank You for giving us an opportunity to intercede for them. Amen.
