Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You those among us who have a lukewarm relationship with You and the church. Lord, You said that those who are neither hot nor cold would be spat out. We pray that we really begin to live out our Christian faith with love, passion, freedom and grace. May we also never become blind followers of the blind, but exercise Your wisdom and caution, when facing challenges in our faith walk. Bring Your Spirit alive in us – every day – a fresh anointing. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we pray for protection – from evil, strife, bad habits and any vile attacks of Satan. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy us little by little, instead of keeping us safe. Protect us from today in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Send Your angels to stand guard over us and our own. More than anything, keep us away from anything that cocoons us away from loving You and loving our brethren, which is Your way. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we bring to Your Cross those who are judged the harshest by each one of us – the Pharisees of today. The crying single, the teen with the tattoo, the sulky colleague, the temperamental boss, the whining elder, the insensitive partner, the cutting friend, the alcoholic neighbour, the gossipy stranger and many more faces we meet daily…may we see them all – as You see them, holy and perfect creations in an imperfect world. Let us not judge, lest we be judged by You. Forgive and heal us, each time before we even think of lifting our fingers...

Lord Jesus, You created man and gave woman to him as a partner. We pray for those of us, especially Christians, who are living through the pain of ‘married singlehood’. Breathe life into our marriages, Holy Spirit. We pray that men and women can receive complete healing and deliverance by Your power. Bind the devil from abusing vulnerability and pain in a marriage. Heal wounds and help couples to forgive and move on. Bless and heal their children. And help us bring ourselves, our marriages and our partners – to You, daily and forever. Amen.
