Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are awaiting new beginnings. We pray that they are blessed mightily with breakthroughs – in their spiritual walk, family life, finances, careers, health, answers to long lost prayers and anything they may need it for – in life. We pray that a fresh start would come to each one of us, timely and overwhelming. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You each and every person who has broken our hearts, injured us physically or emotionally or hurt our dear ones. Lord, we make a decision to forgive. Please take hold of each piece of our shattered hearts and make them whole again. Pour forth Your Spirit and give us the complete healing that we need so badly. Wipe our tears tonight, when we are totally alone in this pain. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You babies and children who are suffering and in pain. Heal their emotional and physical wounds, Lord. When they cry out, may Your angels rush to their aid and soothe their brows. Give them the assurance that You are carrying them in Your precious arms. When tears flow, give their families Your strength, love and grace. May no child go to bed tonight, feeling any despair or suffering. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our wounds. O God who healed the sick, the grieving, the wounded, have mercy on us all. May Your love that surpasses all human understanding – fill us, cleanse us and strengthen us. Remove from each one of us any deep inner wounds which we got right from the time we were conceived, up to today. We pray that we can forgive and forget. Help heal the ones we have wounded too. May we never delay the healing process with our cold hearts. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we thank You for the angels we call our friends. Bless, sanctify and strengthen our friendships. We praise and glorify You for their love and support – the friend in school, the one who shared secrets in college, the colleague who always lends an ear and the stranger who became the most integral part of our lives, more than a sibling by blood. May they never see distress in their lives, but always be Your witness of love, peace and joy. Bless all our friends today in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Amen.
