Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us who have faced emotional or physical abuse. Children who have been tortured, women who have had their dignity stripped off and men who have been insulted. When we or our brethren suffer, Lord, surround all of us immediately with Your angels. May Your love bring healing – the kind that only Your Holy Spirit can give us. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who are longing for a job. We pray that these brothers and sisters will have the grace to pray and seek Your will when they apply for jobs. May they never lose hope when a rejection comes. May they have the will and the grace from You to try and try again without giving up. Provide them and their families with finances for their daily needs. Tell us all every day what should be done with our time, our lives. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to you the men and women who parent us. Bless them mightily today and forever, Lord. You gave some of us this privilege and honour – to parent new generations. We thank You for this precious blessing, Jesus. Give us the wisdom needed to raise children who worship and love You more than anything else. May our parenting be the kind that honours You, our creator, more than anything else. Help us also to honour and love our spouse, with whom we share this blessing of parenting. Amen.
