விவிலியம் முழுவதும் செல்வர்களுக்கு எதிரான போர் முரசு முழங்கிக் கொண்டே இருக்கின்றனவே இதன் காரணம் என்ன? ஏழ்மையில் நாம் அனைவரும் இருப்பதையே ஆண்டவர் விரும்புகின்றாரா? அப்படியென்றால் அரசியல்வாதிகளும், செல்வர்களும் கடவுளின் கருவியாகத்தானே இருக்கமுடியும். காரணம் அவர்களால் மட்டுமே இன்று வரை ஏழ்மைத் தொடர்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றது. நாம் கஷ்டங்கள், கடன் தொல்லைகள் நீங்க, வீடு வாங்க, வாகனம் வாங்க நுஆஐ – சீக்கிரம் கட்டிமுடிக்க, பையனுக்கு நல்ல பணக்கார, படிச்ச பெண்ணை பார்க்க……. இன்னும் அடிக்கிக்கொண்டே ஆண்டவரே நின் வரத்தைத் தா என்றல்லவா இன்று அவரின் பாதம் தேடி வந்திருக்கிறோம். ஏழ்மையாய் இருப்பதும் துன்பப்படுவோரும் பேறுபெற்றோர் என்றால் நாம் ஏன் உழைக்கவேண்டும், நாம் ஏன் இந்த சமுதாயத்தை மாற்ற வேண்டும் இதனை நுட்பமாக அறிய வேண்டிய கட்டாயத்தில் இருக்கின்றோம். இது ஒரு முரண்சுவை. இச்சுவையினை அறிந்திட முயலுவோம். நற்செய்தியை மேலோட்டமாக படிக்கின்றபோது இயேசு நம்மை ஏழையாக பட்டினி கிடந்து சாகக்கூடியவர்களாக, வெறுத்து ஒதுக்கபடுபவர்களாக...
