Today, we pray over our lost childhood

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You every person who lost his/her childhood. Lord, abusive or fighting parents, strive, anger and critical spirit in the family, high expectations at school, poverty, abuse and lack of support has destroyed our childhood dreams for many of us. We pray a prayer of forgiveness for ourselves. We believe that the power of Christ can return everything satan has stolen and we claim that for everyone concerned. We order demonic powers to flee from us and bind any sad memories to do with our childhood – when it should all have been about happiness...

Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands. Sept 23rd ’14

Reading 1 prv 21:1-6, 10-13 Like a stream is the king’s heart in the hand of the LORD; wherever it pleases him, he directs it. All the ways of a man may be right in his own eyes, but it is the LORD who proves hearts. To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. Haughty eyes and a proud heart– the tillage of the wicked is sin. The plans of the diligent are sure of profit, but all rash haste leads certainly to poverty. Whoever makes a fortune by a lying tongue is...

Today, we pray for all who have ever asked us for prayers

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You people who have requested our prayer support. The friend, the member of the family, the acquaintance, the colleague, the neighbour and the stranger – we bring them all to the foot of Your cross today, seeking that Your mighty Holy Spirit will touch them, heal their hearts and refresh their spirits. Answer their needs today, whatever they may be, Oh Jesus. May no prayer return unanswered. Bless them and their own. Thank You for giving us an opportunity to intercede for them and forgive us if we have ever forgotten to keep a...

Today, we pray for those who weep for their children

Lord Jesus, we pray for all those parents weeping and praying for their beloved children. No parent would want to see their children living in sin, suffering or sicknesses. O Lord take into account the valuable tears of those parents who are praying for their children. May their tears be honoured by You. May their children get healed physically, emotionally and spiritually. Amen.

Today, we pray for the hungry

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those among us who are hungering for a square meal. Lord, do not judge our cruel world where the wealthy are enjoying the best of luxuries while millions are starving. We also surrender our hunger for love, care and fellowship. We especially submit the vulnerable – the old, the children and the lonely, who do not have anyone to offer them anything and have to fend for themselves daily. Forgive those who talk about feeding the hungry but never do so. May those who hunger be filled, by You and by Your creations...
