அன்பின் இறைவா! இந்நாளின் கிருபைக்காக உம்மிடம் வருகிறோம். நாவினால் நாங்கள் பாவம் செய்யாதபடிக்கு உமது பிள்ளைகளாய் ஒவ்வொருவரும் உம்மிடத்தில் வருகிறோம். அன்பான சகோதர,சகோதரிகளே, நாம் பேசும் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தைக்கும் கடவுளின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பில் கணக்கு கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று வாசிக்கிறோம். மத்தேயு 12:36-37. நாம் நம் பேச்சிலும், வார்த்தையிலும், அடிக்கடி தவறுகிறோம். பேச்சில் தவறாதோர் நிறைவு பெற்றவராவர். அவர்களே தம் முழு உடலையும் கட்டுப்படுத்த வல்லவர் என்று காண்கிறோம். யாக்கோபு 3:2. கப்பலை பாருங்கள், அது எத்தனை பெரியதாக இருந்தாலும் கடுங்காற்றில் அடித்து செல்லப்பட்டாலும், கப்பல் ஓட்டுவர் சிறியதொரு சுக்கானைக்கொண்டு தாம் விரும்பும் திசையை நோக்கி கப்பலை திருப்புவார்கள். நம்முடைய நாக்கும் அதுபோல் நம் உடம்பில் மிக சிறிய உறுப்பாக இருந்தாலும் பெரிய காரியங்களை சாதிப்பதாக பெருமை அடிக்கிறது. யாக்கோபு 3:4. அதுமட்டுமல்ல தீப்பொறியை போல் நாம் பேசும் தகாத வார்த்தைகளால் வாழ்க்கை சக்கரம் முழுவதையும், எரித்துவிடுகிறது. அன்பானவர்களே, நல்ல நீரும், உவர்ப்பு நீரும், எப்படி ஒரே ஊற்றிலிருந்து சுரக்காதோ, இதைப்போல் நம் வாயில்...

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all the families in the world. Lord, the evil one is destroying families and close relationships. We pray that all families are protected and that strife is routed in Your mighty name. May members of families learn the importance of praying – together and for each other. And through the power of that prayer, may we always live in physical and emotional togetherness and love. Amen.
