“THE PROMISE OF MY FATHER” (Lk 24:49)

“Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized in the Jordan.” –Mark 1:9 At the Jordan river, God told Joshua: “Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know I am with you” (Jos 3:7). Then Joshua led the Israelites across the Jordan river into the land of promise (Jos 3:14ff). நாவின் அதிகாரம்

அன்பின் இறைவா! இந்நாளின் கிருபைக்காக உம்மிடம் வருகிறோம். நாவினால் நாங்கள் பாவம் செய்யாதபடிக்கு உமது பிள்ளைகளாய் ஒவ்வொருவரும் உம்மிடத்தில் வருகிறோம். அன்பான சகோதர,சகோதரிகளே, நாம் பேசும் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தைக்கும் கடவுளின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பில் கணக்கு கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று  வாசிக்கிறோம். மத்தேயு 12:36-37. நாம் நம் பேச்சிலும், வார்த்தையிலும், அடிக்கடி தவறுகிறோம். பேச்சில் தவறாதோர் நிறைவு பெற்றவராவர். அவர்களே தம் முழு உடலையும் கட்டுப்படுத்த வல்லவர் என்று காண்கிறோம். யாக்கோபு 3:2. கப்பலை பாருங்கள், அது எத்தனை பெரியதாக இருந்தாலும் கடுங்காற்றில் அடித்து செல்லப்பட்டாலும், கப்பல் ஓட்டுவர் சிறியதொரு சுக்கானைக்கொண்டு தாம் விரும்பும் திசையை நோக்கி கப்பலை திருப்புவார்கள். நம்முடைய நாக்கும் அதுபோல் நம் உடம்பில் மிக சிறிய உறுப்பாக இருந்தாலும் பெரிய காரியங்களை சாதிப்பதாக பெருமை அடிக்கிறது. யாக்கோபு 3:4. அதுமட்டுமல்ல தீப்பொறியை போல் நாம் பேசும் தகாத வார்த்தைகளால் வாழ்க்கை சக்கரம் முழுவதையும், எரித்துவிடுகிறது. அன்பானவர்களே, நல்ல நீரும், உவர்ப்பு நீரும், எப்படி ஒரே ஊற்றிலிருந்து சுரக்காதோ, இதைப்போல் நம் வாயில்...

Today, we pray for families

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all the families in the world. Lord,  the evil one is destroying families and close relationships. We pray that all families are protected and that strife is routed in Your mighty name. May members of families learn the importance of praying – together and for each other. And through the power of that prayer, may we always live in physical and emotional togetherness and love. Amen.

ஒருவரை ஒருவர் வாழ்த்துங்கள்

கடவுளின் பேரில் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு அவரையே தெய்வமாக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, கடவுளின் பிள்ளைகள் என்ற உரிமையை பெற்று வாழும் எனக்கு அன்பானவர்களே! உங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் நானும் நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இனிய பெயரால் வாழ்த்துகிறேன். யோவான் 1:12. பிரியமானவர்களே! உங்களுக்கு ஓன்று தெரியுமா? நாம் எதை மற்றவர்களுக்கு செய்ய நினைக்கிறோமோ, அதுவே நமக்கும் கிடைக்கும். நீங்கள் உங்கள் அடுத்திருப்போரை வாழ்த்துவீர்களானால் நீங்கள் கடவுளால் வாழ்த்தப்படுவீர்கள். அதனால்தான் ஆண்டவர் பகைவரிடமும், அன்பு கூருங்கள். உங்களை துன்புறுத்துவோருக்காக இறைவனிடம் வேண்டுங்கள். இதைச் செய்தால் நாம் விண்ணகத்தந்தையின் மக்கள் ஆவோம். மத்தேயு 5:44-45.   உங்களிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துவோரிடம் மட்டும் அன்பு செலுத்தினால் அதினால் கைம்மாறு என்ன கிடைக்கும்? இதை உலக மக்கள் யாவரும் செய்கிறார்கள்.நாம் கடவுளின் பிள்ளைகள் என்பதற்கு என்ன சாட்சி இருக்கிறது? உங்கள் சகோதர,சகோதரிகளுக்கு மட்டும் வாழ்த்து சொல்வீர்களா னால் நீங்கள் விசேஷித்து செய்த காரியம் ஒன்றுமில்லையே? மத்தேயு 5 – 47. பவுல் எழுதிய ஒவ்வொரு கடிதத்திலும் கடைசியாக வாழ்த்து கூறி எழுதியிருக்கிறதை காணலாம். விவிலியம்...
