“Jesus grew deeply troubled.” –John 13:21 Especially in Holy Week, we may become deeply troubled. We are troubled by other people, by Judases who betray the Lord and us, and by Peters who deny the Lord and us after promising never to do such a thing (see Jn 13:21ff, 38). We may also be troubled by the seeming uselessness of our lives. We may feel as if we have “toiled in vain…for nothing, uselessly” (Is 49:4). Lord Jesus, today we pray for the ones who are struggling for a square meal. Let the rich share their supplies with the poor. May every human have food on the table and money for their needs. A special prayer for the hungry mouths of the world this day, this moment. Give us all our daily bread, Lord. Amen.

அன்பார்ந்த சகோதரர்,சகோதரிகளுக்கு,நம்முடைய ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் இனிய நாமத்தில் அன்பின் நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள். இந்த உலகில் வாழும் நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் பலவிதமான காரியங்கள் தேவைப்படுகிறது. பணத்தேவை, பொருளாதரத்தேவை, வீடு தேவை, நம்மை நேசிக்கும் அன்புள்ளங்கள் தேவை, நம் கவலைகளை பகிர்ந்துக்கொள்ள நல்ல நண்பர்கள் தேவை, இப்படி அடுக்கிக்கொண்டே போகலாம். சில வீடுகளில் பணம், பொருளாதாரம இருக்கும்.ஆனால் அதை அனுபவிக்க அவர்களால் கூடாது போகலாம். நல்ல சுகம் இருக்கும், அவர்கள் பசியாலும், பட்டினியாலும் துன்பப்படுவார்கள். ஆனால் நம்முடைய தேவன் நம் மேல் மனதுருகி இந்த மாதிரியான கஷ்டங்களில் இருந்து நம்மை பாதுக்காக்க வல்லவராய் இருக்கிறார். அவரை நோக்கி கூப்பிடும் யாராயிருந்தாலும் இவைகளில் இருந்து விடுவிக்கப்படுவர். ஒருபோதும் தம்முடைய பிள்ளைகள் கஷ்டப்படுவதை ஆண்டவர் விரும்பமாட்டார் . கடவுள் தம்முடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்கு யார் மூலமாவது உதவிகளை அனுப்புவார். இதை வேதத்தில் நாம் நிறைய இடங்களில் வாசிக்கலாம். எலியாவின் காலத்தில் மூன்றரை ஆண்டுகளாக வானம் பொய்த்தது: நாடெங்கும் பெரும் பஞ்சம் உண்டானது. அக்காலத்தில் இஸ்ரவேலரிடையே கைம்பெண்கள் பலர் இருந்தனர். ஆயினும் அவர்களுள் எவரிடமும் எலியா...

We pray that Your heavenly and earthly angels will support them when they are at their lowest. May they always find a friendly hand to hold, pray and bring them back.
