நோவா ஆண்டவரின் வார்த்தைக்கு கீழ்படிந்து நடந்ததுபோல் ஆபிரகாம் ஆண்டவரின் வார்த்தையை அப்படியே நம்பினதால் ஆண்டவரின் சிநேகதரர் ஆனார்.ஏனெனில் ஆபிரகாமும் சாராவும் வயது முதிர்ந்த வர்களாய் இருந்தார்கள்.சாராவுக்கு மாதவிடாயும் நின்று போயிற்று.இந்த ஒரு சூழ்நிலையில் குழந்தை பிறக்கும் என்று சொல்கிறப்பொழுது யாரால்தான் நம்பமுடியும்?ஆனால் ஆபிரகாம் ஆண்டவர் சொன்னதை நம்பினார்.நம்பிக்கை என்பது கண்ணுக்கு புலப்படாதவை பற்றிய ஐயமற்ற நிலை.எபிரேயர் 11:1.அவரின் உறுதியான நம்பிக்கையால் அதிசயத்தை கண்டார். அன்பானவர்களே! நாமும் ஆண்டவரின் வாக்கை நம்பி நாம் வேண்டிக்கொண்டதை ஆண்டவர் நமக்கு தருவார் என்று உறுதியாய் நம்பினால் நிச்சயம் நம் நம்பிக்கையை ஆண்டவர் கணப்படுத்துவார் . அதிசயத்தைக்காணச் செய்வார். நாம் நமக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்ட பணியில் ( வேலையில் ) யோசேப்பை போல உண்மையாய் இருந்தோமானால் ஆண்டவர் செய்யும் அதிசயத்தை காணலாம். நாம் நம்முடைய செயல்கள் யாவற்றிலும் உண்மையாய் இருந்தால் ஆண்டவர் நம்மோடு கூடவே இருப்பார். தொ.நூல்.39:2ல் ஆண்டவர் யோசேப்புடன் உடன் இருந்ததுபோல் நம்மோடும் இருப்பார். அவரை அவரின் சகோதரர் பொறமைக்கொண்டு அடிமையாய் விற்ற போதிலும் யோசேப்பு உண்மையாய் இருந்ததால் ஆண்டவர் அவருடனே இருந்தார்....

Those who hope in the Lord will never fail in strength (1 Mc 2:61) and actually renew their strength (Is 40:31). This is because “hope remains” after all else passes away (see 1 Cor 13:13). Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all the families in the world. Lord, the evil one is destroying families and close relationships. We pray that families, friendships are protected and that strife is routed in Your mighty name. May those who are in relationships, families learn the importance of praying – together and for each other. And through the power of that prayer, may we always live in physical proximity, emotional togetherness and Your kind of love. Amen.
