தற்பெருமை அல்ல அடுத்தவர் பெருமையே!

லூக்கா 14:1,7-11 இறையேசுவில் இனியவா்களே! நம்பிக்கையோடும் ஆர்வத்தோடும் திருப்பலிக்கு வந்திருக்கின்ற உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு வரவேற்கின்றேன். இந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு இனிய நாளாக இருக்கவும், நீங்கள் நல்ல உடல்நலத்துடன் வாழவும், உங்கள் வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமையவும் உங்களை வாழ்த்துகிறேன். ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடுகிறேன். தான் என்ற அகங்காரம் மனிதர்களுக்கு வருவதால், அவர்கள் சிறுமை யடைகிறார்கள் மேலும் அருகிலிப்பவர்களாலே அவர்கள் நிராகரிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். இந்தத் தற்பெருமை மனிதனை இறைநிராகரிப்பில் தள்ளி விடும் என்பதை கவனத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். ஆகவே இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகம் தற்பெருமை வேண்டாம். மாறாக தாழ்ச்சியே வேண்டும் என்ற தலையாய பாடத்தோடு வருகிறது. தற்பெருமை வந்தால் பல தீமைகள் விரைவாக வந்து நமக்குள் குடிகொள்கின்றன. அவற்றுள் இரண்டு. 1. நடிப்பு மனிதர்கள் தங்களுடைய ஒவ்வொரு செயலையும் செய்யும் போது அதில் தூய்மையான எண்ணம் இருக்க வேண்டும். அவ்வாறு இருந்தால் தான் அவர்கள் செய்யக் கூடிய கடுகளவு நன்மையானாலும் அது இறைவனிடத்தில் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளப்படும்....

திருப்பாடல் 19: 1 – 2, 3 – 4 இயற்கையின் சிறப்பை, கடவுளின் கைவண்ணத்தை திருப்பாடல் ஆசிரியர் புகழ்ந்து பாடுகிறார். மனிதர்கள் அதிகமாக பேசுகிறார்கள். தங்களை எப்போதும் உயர்வாகவே பேசுகிறார்கள். அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்கு அதிகமான முக்கியத்துவத்தைக் கொடுக்கிறார்கள். அவர்களுடைய செயல்பாடுகளை அவர்களின் பேச்சோடு ஒப்பிட்டுப் பார்க்கிறபோது, சொற்கள் தான் அதிகமாக இருக்கிறது, செயல்பாடுகள் சொல்லக்கூடிய அளவில் இல்லை. திருப்பாடல் ஆசிரியர் இயற்கையிடமிருந்து கற்றுக்கொள்ளக்கூடிய பாடமாக நமக்கு மிகப்பெரிய செய்தியைத் தருகிறார். இயற்கைக்கு சொல்லுமில்லை, பேச்சுமில்லை. ஆனால், தங்களுடைய செயல்பாடுகளால் அவை கடவுளின் மாட்சிமையை பறைசாற்றுகின்றன. கடவுளுக்கு தங்களது நன்றியுணர்வை எடுத்துரைக்கின்றன. கடவுளைப் பற்றிப்பிடித்துக் கொண்டு, கடவுள் தங்களுக்கு கட்டளையிட்டவாறே பணிகளைச் செய்து முடிக்கின்றன. தாங்கள் செய்ய வேண்டிய பணிகளை எந்த எதிர்பார்ப்பும் இல்லாமல் செய்து முடிக்கின்றன. அவற்றைச் செய்து முடிப்பதில் மகிழ்ச்சி கொள்கின்றன. நம்முடைய வாழ்வில், நாம் பேசுகிற வார்த்தைகளைக் குறைத்துக்கொண்டு நன்றிக்குரியவர்களாக வாழ்வோம். நம்முடைய செயல்பாடுகள் நம்முடைய...
