திருப்பாடல் 139: 7 – 8, 9 – 10, 11 – 12 இறைவன் நம்மை முழுமையாக அறிந்திருக்கிறார் என்பதுதான் இந்த திருப்பாடல் வழியாக ஆசிரியர் சொல்ல வருகிற செய்தியாகும். நம்மைப் பற்றி நாம் அறிந்ததை விட, நம்மைப்பற்றி நம்முடைய உறவுகள் அறிந்ததை விட, இறைவன் முழுமையாக அறிந்திருக்கிறார். நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கையில் நாம் எதைச்செய்தாலும் கடவுளின் பார்வையிலிருந்து தப்பிவிட முடியாது. ஏனென்றால், ஆண்டவர் எப்போதும் நம்மை உற்று நோக்கிக் கொண்டேயிருக்கிறார். தாவீது அரசர் பத்சேபாவோடு தவறு செய்கிறார். தான் செய்கிற தவறை யாரும் உணராதவாறு, அவருடைய கணவரை கொன்றுவிடுகிறார். அரசர் என்கிற தற்பெருமை, செய்கிற தவறை மற்றவர்களிடமிருந்து மறைத்த செருக்கு அவரிடத்தில் இருக்கிறது. தன்னைப்பற்றி கர்வம் கொள்கிறார். ஆனால், இறைவன் நாத்தான் இறைவாக்கினர் வாயிலாக அவருக்கு அழிவின் செய்தியை அறிவிக்கிறார். கடவுள் முன்னிலையில் தாவீது செய்த தவறு அவருக்கு உணர்த்தப்படுகிறது. இதுவரை தனக்கு நிகரில்லை என்ற மமதை கொண்டிருந்த தாவீது...

திருப்பாடல் 139: 1 – 3, 4 – 6 ஒரு சில யூதப்போதனையாளர்களின் கருத்துப்படி, தாவீது எழுதிய திருப்பாடல்களில் இது தான், தலைசிறந்த பாடல். கடவுள் எங்குமிருக்கிறார். நம்மை அருகிருந்து பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்று கடவுளின் பேராற்றலை எடுத்துரைக்கக்கூடிய பாடல் இந்த திருப்பாடல். கடவுள் அறியாதது ஒன்றுமில்லை என்பதை தெளிவாக வெளிப்படுத்துகிற பாடல். நம் வாயிலிருந்து நாம் சொல்லப்போகிற வார்த்தைகளைக் கூட கடவுள் தெளிவாக அறிந்திருக்கிறார். கடவுளை முழுவதுமாக அறிந்தவராக வெளிப்படுத்தும் இப்பாடல், மனித அறிவின் எல்லையையும் கோடிட்டுக் காட்டுகிறது. மனிதர்களாகிய நாம் நமது எல்லையை உணர வேண்டும். நம்முடைய அறிவு குறிப்பிட்ட எல்லைக்குரியது. கடவுளைப் பற்றி மனிதன் கூறும் பிரச்சனைகளுக்கு அடிப்படையே இங்கிருந்து தான் தொடங்குகிறது. நடக்கிற நிகழ்வுகளை நம்முடைய அறிவைக் கொண்டு தீர்வு காண முயற்சி எடுக்கிறோம். நாம் நினைப்பது போல நிகழ்வுகள் நடக்கவில்லை என்றால், கடவுளிடத்தில் கோபம் கொள்கிறோம். இந்த கோபம் கடவுளிடத்தில் வெறுப்புணர்வாக மாறுகிறது....

“Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, you frauds!” —Matthew 23:13, 15 Jesus called the religious leaders of His day “frauds,” “blind guides” (Mt 23:16), and “blind fools” (Mt 23:17), among other things. Jesus did not say these things in sinful anger. He was simply being forthright in correcting the scribes and Pharisees. Jesus continues to deal forthrightly with religious leaders. He knows they must render an account to Him for the people they are responsible to lead (Heb 13:17). They need our help desperately. We give thanks for our religious leaders.
