Today, we pray for healing from stress

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You individuals, families, couples, friends and organisations suffering from stress. Lord, You are the Lord over our emotions. Make us feel Your presence when we are anxious and disturbed. Clear the clutter and chaos in our lives, with Your Holy Spirit. Bless events where people are struggling with last minute organisation, lack of support, insensitive partners and unkind people. Let Your peace flow. Amen.

Collect: Grant, we pray, almighty God, that your family may walk in the way of salvation and, attentive to what Saint John the Precursor urged, may come safely to the One he foretold, our Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
