Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those among us who are hungering for a square meal. Lord, please forgive our cruel world where the wealthy are enjoying the best of luxuries while millions are starving. We also surrender our hunger for love, care and fellowship. We especially submit the vulnerable – the old, the children and the lonely, who do not have anyone to offer them food for their minds or bodies and have to fend for themselves daily. Forgive those who talk about feeding the hungry but never do so. May those who hunger be filled, by You...

Lord Jesus, today we pray for the grace to be free from debt. Lord, help us to honour You first with our money. Whatever we earn, let the first fruits be Yours. May our brothers and sisters who are facing debts, loans, mortgages, crisis situations or loss of jobs – be helped in time, by Your angels. Give us financial blessings. When the system fails us, please provide us adequate for our needs. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You each man, woman and child seeking You. We pray that those who desperately wish to attend a retreat can do so soon. Remove the hindrances, anxieties, people and negative circumstances that are blocking their plans. We surrender each person and their desire to know You fully, at the foot of the cross. May their cries reach Your ears today and may they get the deliverance only You can give. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You taught us about love. But to some, love is manifested as lust. We pray for our brothers and sisters living in the bondage of sexual immorality, especially the ones who live it in secret and have no qualms about it. May they have the courage and integrity to recognise their folly and fight it, with Your grace. Pour forth Your Spirit on each one of us so that we may never fall into this evil of ‘using and throwing’ people. Protect our own and our children from being preys to this too. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our wounds. O God who healed the sick, have mercy on us all. May Your love that surpasses all human understanding fill us, cleanse us and strengthen us. Remove from each one of us any deep inner wounds which we got right from the time we were conceived, up to today. We pray that we can forgive and forget completely by Your grace. Help heal the ones we have wounded too. Amen.
