Today, we pray for new Christians

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our dear ones who have come newly into the Christian faith. Lord, guide and strengthen them with Your power each step of the way. Help us to truly walk the walk, so that we can be ideal, sincere and honest role models to them. We pray that these brothers and sisters are never so discouraged that they lose hope completely. Bless them and take us all under Your wing. Amen.

Today, we pray for widows, orphans and single parent families

Lord Jesus, today we pray for some of the ignored in our society – the widows, widowers, orphans and single parents. We pray that You will be the absent spouse, mother and father for them all. May Your love surround them when they are at their lowest. May Your Holy Spirit give them inner strength, courage and joy. May angels be at their service when they need them. Bless the weakest mightily, Lord. Bring the right kind of friends and family into their lives. Forgive and heal the ones who reject them and cause them suffering. Amen.

Today, we pray for those being tested

Lord Jesus, our Saviour, we need You now as we are struggling in the crucible of suffering. Lord, touch and bless each of us who are being tested through loss, illness, family problems, bondages, calamities, crisis situations, financial crunch, stress or fear. We wash all these away by the power of Your precious blood. May Your love bring us healing and peace, plus assurance, right now. Amen.

Today, we pray for a blessed Holy Week

Lord Jesus, today we thank You for Your immense love that took You to the cross and made You shed every last drop of Your blood for us. We pray that we honour Your love by keeping this week consecrated to You and holy. May we be broken completely and thus learn to love You and love Your own perfectly, today and for the rest of our lives. Amen.

Today, we pray for our best friends

ord Jesus, today we thank You for the angels we call our best friends. Bless, sanctify, heal, and strengthen our friendships, through the power of Your Holy Spirit. We praise You and glorify You for bringing them into our lives at the right time with their love and support – the friend in school, the one who shared secrets in college, the colleague who always lend an ear and the stranger who became the most integral part of our lives. May they never see distress, but always be Your witnesses of love, peace and joy. Bless my best friend, Lord....
