Today, we pray for those struggling to pray

Lord Jesus, today we entrust to Your Sacred Heart, each person around the world who is struggling to pray. Whether we are unable to pray because of a lack of time or a lack of spiritual intimacy with You, may Your touch heal us all. Fill us with peace from You. May we never give up when our emotions or circumstances tell us that You are not present. May Your angels surround us and nudge us back to You. Amen.

Today, we pray for sick children

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You babies and children who are suffering and in pain. Heal their emotional and physical wounds, Lord. When they cry out, may Your angels rush to their aid and soothe their brows. Give them the assurance that You are carrying them in Your precious arms. When tears flow, give their families Your strength, love and grace. May no child go to bed feeling despair or suffering tonight. Amen.

They would have struggled to understand the situation. We pray for all those who, on this day, feel lost and empty in life and are unable to understand their broken situations. Be with them this day and comfort them as You lead them on to the resurrection experience. Amen.

Today, we pray for those awaiting miracles

We pray that Your light will come into our lives and provide the miraculous breakthroughs we desperately seek – in our ministry, relationships, marriages, careers and any situations we face, during our daily walk. May help come immediately when we turn to You. And may we turn to You first before we seek help elsewhere. Also, bring to us good people who can help turn...

Today, we pray for the judged

Lord Jesus, we bring to Your Cross those who are judged the harshest by each one of us, the Pharisees of today. The teen with the tattoo, the sulky colleague, the temperamental boss, the whining elder, the insensitive partner, the cutting friend, the alcoholic neighbour, the gossipy stranger and many more faces we meet daily…may we see them all as You see them, holy and perfect creations in an imperfect world. Let us not judge, lest we be judged by You. Forgive and heal us, each time before we even think of lifting our fingers to point at our own...
