Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us and our families and dear ones, who are now really ill. Only You, the Divine Healer, can give people the complete healing for our spirits, souls and bodies. We pray that Your Spirit comforts those who are in pain. May no one go away from Your presence, unhappy or suffering. Heal us, sweet Jesus. May our lives become great witnesses of Your healing touch. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those who are addicted to alcohol. Jesus, only You can heal these men and women who are caught in the web of intoxication. We pray that our youth especially, are protected from falling into this temptation. A special prayer for the spouses, parents and children of alcoholics. May our homes and organisations be places where individuals can celebrate without drinking. Heal the addicts. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You people who have ever requested our prayer support. The friend, the member of the family, the acquaintance, the colleague, the neighbour, the religious and the stranger – we bring them all to the foot of Your cross today, seeking that Your mighty Holy Spirit will touch them, heal their hearts and refresh their spirits. Answer their needs today, whatever they may be, Oh Jesus. May they clearly know today that no prayer returns unanswered. Bless them and their own. Thank You for giving us an opportunity to intercede for them. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we plead for Your protection – from evil, strife, bad habits and any vile attacks of Satan. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy instead of keeping us safe. Protect us in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Send Your angels to stand guard over us and our own. More than anything, keep us away from anything that blocks us away from loving You and loving our brethren like you want them loved. Amen.

Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are being rammed by this cruellest attack against their souls. We pray that Your heavenly and earthly angels will support them when they are at their lowest. May they always find a friendly hand to hold, a heart to pray for them and love to bring them back. Break the strongholds of evil right this instant, in Jesus’ mighty name. We pray for those in our family and friends’ circle and those around the world, who have struggled with this evil. Deliver them now and forever...
