Lord Jesus, we pray for those among us who have faced emotional, sexual or physical abuse. Children who have been tortured, women who have had their dignity stripped off and men who have been insulted. When our brethren suffer, Lord, surround them with Your angels. May Your love bring healing – the kind that only Your Holy Spirit can give us. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You every place on earth that is facing a natural calamity right now. Son of God, who commanded the winds and the waves, please have mercy on our world. We specially pray for those affected right now by hurricanes, bad weather, lack of rain, power and water supply disruptions. A prayer of mercy for those who are travelling or stuck at strange places, unable to reach home and for their loved ones far away. Let Your protection keep us safe, Jesus. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You people who are living away from their families and dear ones. We pray that the circumstances – poverty, job, stress within the family, strife, whatever may be causing partners, parents, children live separated by miles, to be sorted. We pray that by Your grace, they will be able to come together to worship in Your presence every day. May no Christian go to bed lonely. Let bondages that keep them separate be broken by Your mighty power. Amen.
Lord Jesus, we pray today for little children who are struggling to understand You and Your handiwork, in our tough, unfair world. May they turn to You, today. We pray that our children are touched by Your Holy Spirit, so that they understand how to obey and honour You, even when life gives them tough knocks. Lord Jesus, we surrender to You those of us who are suffering today because of silly misunderstandings. We pray that Your love penetrates into our very souls and heals the wounds which run deep. May we believers learn to rebuke the devil and stay away from his tactics. May our relationships be blessed more and more. Break Satan’s web of lies and strife, especially between ministers, family and friends, Lord Jesus. May rifts be healed and let love surpass everything. Amen.
