Set God Before You
David was the youngest son and he was tending the sheep of his father but God chose him to be the king instead of Soul. God sends Samuel to anoint the one he has chosen but when Samuel saw Eliab, he thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed was on Eliab.” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” Lord chose David because he set the Lord always before him. David loved the Lord and that’s why he could not take the words of Goliath talking against the children of god. He knew that His lord is able to defeat Goliath.” and that’s why he said to Saul, “Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him. The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” He fearlessly says to Goliath “ I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty; all those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s.” In everything David set the Lord before him. The bible says that Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with him. In everything David did, he had great success, because the Lord was with him. When Saul saw how successful he was, he was afraid of him. In each and everything in his life David experienced the love of God and that’s why he says “Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.” Psalm 34:8. I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8.
My dear friends if you need to succeed in your business, career, life, or anything else the only thing you need to do is to set our loving Lord always before you and you we will not be shaken because He takes care of you and because he cares for you, you will not be put to shame. Isaiah 50:7. Since you believe him, you no need to fear for anything. He will always be with you, help you, guide you and protect you. The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Psalm 118:6. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10.
