Prayer Is Boundless

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever you want Me to give you”.  1 King 3:5

Many people get irritated with long-winded people who obscure the real issue behind a flood of words instead of asking something outright.

A similar situation can arise in your prayer life. The Old Testament prayer warriors were completely open and honest when they spoke with the Lord. They did not hide or hold anything back. Their confessions were complete and revealing, their requests were real and humble.

When presenting you requests to the Lord, be specific and honest. Ask for the gifts of wisdom and discernment so that you can recognize and accept His answers.
