Never Give Up

There was an old man who lived with his son and his family. All of them lived in a rented house. The old man was a pensioner and hence the family expected lot from him. But since he did not spend anything for them, they always yelled at him. Days passed by and one day he passed away. They did not feel for him much because they thought he was not useful for them. A day later, while the family were cleaning the old man’s room, they found a letter with a key inside. The words in the letter were “My dear children this key belongs to you our new house that I have purchased for you –Dwell and live happily”. The family then realized the love of the old man.

When we do not get answer for our prayers we too yell at our heavenly father. We think He has forgotten us. We do not understand His true love and compassion towards us. But God has a plan for everything.  The bible says,

He has made every thing beautiful in its time: also he has put eternity in men’s hearts, so that no man can find out the work that God does from the beginning to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. Ecclesiastes 11:5

And what His soul desires, that He does. For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him. Job 23:13-14

So let us trust in the Lord with all our hearts and wait for His answers patiently.
