Fulfillment
A small boy loved apples and purchased every day. So he planted the seed in a hole. He had faith it would grow and give him apples. He watered and did his very best to make good on his plan. Every day, he returned with the hope he would see a small sign of new growth from the seed to a tree. But the sign did not come and as time drifted by he started to doubt whether he should still try. He was ready to quit if it just would not grow. He told his father that he would drop his plan. His father said that “Sometimes people give up when they don’t think they can. But to those who keep trying, when no one else will, there are dreams to achieve and great hopes to fulfill.” These words encouraged him and he decided to be patient and keep trying too. One day a green leaf sprouted up from the ground in true form. When he saw the small leaf, tears filled his eye. He was so full of cheer it was patience that brought this new life from the ground.Lord said to Abraham, “ I will surely bless you…”Hebrews 6:14. Abraham received what was promised only after waiting patiently. This year The Lord is going to fulfill what He has promised for us. So let us not think of the older things and let us not stick to our past unclean habits because The Lord says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; Do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland” Isaiah 43: 18-19. So let us turn ourselves towards our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us wait patiently like Abraham with faith and pray fervently to receive what God has promised for us because He says “But I the Lord will speak what I will and it shall be fulfilled without delay” Ezekiel 12:25. Certainly He will do a new thing in our life.
