What is prayer?
Prayer is when you sit still and enter the presence of God and thank him for all that you do have. Once in prayer you give up what you know and let God have his way with your life. Prayer is having a personal conversation with God and receiving the answers you need.
What is a prayer closet?
Matthew 6:6 says But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Your prayer closet is that secret place between you and God. You will go within so you do not do without and begin to pray with the Lord. Whether you find yourself shut into a room or shutting your thoughts of so that it is just you and God you are choosing to enter a sacred secret place for just you and the Lord.
How do I pray?
Many Christian’s wonder how do I pray? What can I do to get closer to God and am I praying right? All you have to do is give thanks in your car give thanks while you are walking to the bank. You can give thanks while you are working or working out. There are even scriptures when Jesus disciples asked him teach us how to pray. As mentioned in Luke 11:1 “One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”
When is the best time to pray?
The best time to pray is everyday no matter what you maybe going through. If times are good you pray, when time are hard you pray. Finding quite time to spend in God’s presence is totally up to you day or night.
