Children of God
Once in a champion league boxing, Luis Stephen won the match and came back to his home town. People were waiting for his arrival and gave him a very grand welcome. There was a huge crowd around him and some people were not able to even get near him. In the crowd was a little boy. He was trying to go to the front but the crowd pushed him back. Suddenly Luis Stephen saw the little boy and asked the crowd to leave way for him to come front. As he reached, Stephen hugged him, carried him and kissed him. Stephen then told the crowd that the little boy was his son.
Since the little boy was Stephen’s son, he was given the first preference to meet his father. Deuteronomy 14:1 says “You are the children of the LORD your God” .There is no need for a child to ask for permission to talk to the father. He/She can talk to the father anytime because Jesus said “He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” Pslam 91:15. “how great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6. ‘The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children”. Romans 8:16
We have the privilege to go to the father at any time for any help. Because he has said “I have loved you,” Malachi 1:2
