Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the ones who have left Your fold by wilful choice. Lord, we pray for our dear ones who do not want to recognise You or worship You as God. We bring to You their doubts, anxieties, confusion and pain. We trust in Your mercy that they will be brought back and redeemed like pure silver. A prayer also for those of us who are standing by longingly and waiting for their return. Give all of us Your power, grace and strength. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to Your presence our pregnant wives, sisters, mothers and friends – and their spouses. We pray that each of these men and women are mightily anointed to become Godly Christian parents. We pray that the fathers, the mothers’ wombs and their babies are blessed. May the men who are to provide care and love, do so, with Your special touch. May Your angels, Saint Anne and Mother Mary give the mothers-to-be relief from their discomforts. Bless the women with safe and happy confinement and smooth labour and the men with hands and hearts willing to...

Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You leaders of our churches, countries, organisations and homes. We pray that they are fine men and women who always listen to their conscience and have the guts to obey it, whatever may be the price. May Your Holy Spirit be with them every step of the way, building groups and people, not breaking them. Bring Your qualities of mercy, justice, humility and honesty into their daily lifestyles. Strengthen those of us who are called to be leaders. May we know how to follow too. May God’s favour be upon our leaders....

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You those among us who are struggling in our marriages. We pray that husbands and wives will truly and sincerely love, honour and cherish this special gift from You. Let forgiveness and humility take the place of resentment and ego. May homes be filled with the power and grace of God and may all hurts be washed away by Your precious blood. May their children experience Your healing touch too. Bind these couples together with the eternal cords of Your love. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are being tortured for their faith in You. Lord, let Your mercy and healing flow – into the prosecuted and the prosecutors. May the ones who harm us, know that to know You, is to speak about You. May Your name be glorified and spread across the world every second. A special prayer for the souls of those martyred for Christian faith and for their families. May Thy church grow without bounds, my Jesus. Amen.
