Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our dear ones who have come newly into the Christian faith. Lord, guide and strengthen them with Your power – each step of the way. Help us to truly walk the walk, so that we can be ideal, sincere and honest role models to them. We pray that these brothers and sisters are never so discouraged that they lose hope completely. Bless them and take them all under Your wing. And let them be aware of Your presence when all goes awry in their lives, in both good times and in bad. Amen.

We pray that their breakthroughs are covered with Your grace and mercy – in their spiritual walk, ministry, family life, finances, careers, health, answers to long lost prayers and anything that they may need – in their new life. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are being tortured for their faith in You. Lord, let Your mercy and healing flow – into the prosecuted and the prosecutors. May the ones who harm us, know that to know You, is to speak about You. May Your name be glorified and spread across the world every second. A special prayer for the souls of those martyred for the Christian faith and for their families. May Thy church grow without bounds, Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we bring to You those who have really reached the end of their tether. For those of us who want to give up on our faith, church-going, family life, relationships, work, friendships, ministry and any other task entrusted to us. We lift each one of us today to Your Presence in a special way, for that anointing and grace which only You can give. Send us angels to help us, Lord. When we face harsh judgement, loneliness, illness and rejection, let us know that its not from You, but from Your creations or the evil one. Help us...

Lord Jesus, we pass people every day who need a demonstration of Your love – friends, family, strangers – both in and out of our inner circle. May we search for ways to show extravagant gestures of gracious love, and outlandish acts of kindness. Make us people who set a goal of doing daily deeds for which we cannot be repaid but in heaven. Set our hearts on fire for people who do not know You. Precious Savior, consume us with compassion for the desperate and downtrodden. Let us pour our lives out in Your kind of love.
