Lord Jesus, today we pray that there will be greater, unbreakable unity among Christians of various denominations. Lord, Your fruits and gifts lie buried under theological and doctrinal differences, the hunger for money and power and political battles to sheep steal or paint the other wrong, rather than come together to glorify You. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You that one prayer which is dearest to our hearts. The silent one, the ache and the doubt that accompanies the wait for it to be answered. The one which we cannot share with anybody else in the world. Lord, sometimes we do not even know if its a right prayer in Your eyes. We are tired of the wait and the struggle. We pray that You will understand our silent prayer and honour the deepest desires of our hearts, if its in Your will. And make the wait end very soon. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You created man and gave woman to him as a partner. We pray for those of us, especially Christians, who have gone through the pain of divorce and are now struggling with pain or guilt. We pray that those can receive complete healing and deliverance by Your power. May no one abuse our vulnerability and pain. Heal our wounds, and help us forgive and move on. Save the marriages that can be saved. Help the single ones, especially those with children. Bless and heal those tots. Make us believe that Your mercy flows after the world’s judgment. And...

Lord Jesus, human relationships are the soul of Your church on earth. We pray today that Your Holy Spirit will come into our hearts and help us build, not break – homes, churches, organisations, friendships and bonds within the family, society and Christian fellowship. We pray we wont be manipulated by the devil, destroying relationships. Open our eyes that we may see that loving our brethren comes right after loving You. Let Your healing flow into every relationship in our lives. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we plead for Your protection – from evil, strife, bad habits and any vile attacks of Satan. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy instead of keeping us safe. Protect us in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Send Your angels to stand guard over us and our own. More than anything, keep us away from anything that blocks us away from loving You and loving our brethren like you want them loved, all the while using Your name for it. Amen.
