Lord Jesus, today we bring to You every place on earth that is facing a natural calamity right now. Son of God who commanded the winds and the waves, please have mercy on our world. We specially pray for those affected right now by floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, heavy rains, intense temperature, power and water supply disruptions. A prayer of mercy for those who are travelling or stuck at strange places, unable to reach home and for their loved ones far away. Let Your protection keep us safe, Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You each man, woman and child, who is facing death today. We pray that Your Spirit strengthens and calms them, when they enter the valley of death. May each one of them receive the grace to know Your presence, the comfort of Your angels and have a peaceful death. Give Your grace to those who are holding them and grieving, when they cross the barrier. May none of our dear ones die violent or untimely deaths and may we never have to face death in fear or in loneliness, without someone holding our hands. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You those of us who are in pain today because of any acts of terror. As the world marks the another anniversary of Sept 11, we pray for those who got killed and kill even today, in the name of religion, politics or gender. We bring to the foot of Your cross, the victims’ souls and the ones left behind – their families and friends. A special, loving prayer for those who have caused and perpetrated the evil. May the demons be rebuked and these brothers and sisters be delivered by the precious blood and...

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You those of us who are torn and suffering today because of silly misunderstandings. We pray that Your love penetrates into our very souls and heals the wounds which run deep. May we believers learn to rebuke the devil and stay away from his tactics. May our relationships be blessed more and more. May rifts be healed and let love surpass everything. Amen.
