Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our wounds. O God who healed the sick, have mercy on us all. May Your love that surpasses all human understanding fill us, cleanse us and strengthen us. Remove from each one of us any deep inner wounds which we got right from the time we were conceived, up to this moment. We pray that we can forgive and forget. Help heal the ones we have wounded too. Lord Jesus, we surrender to You those of us who are torn and suffering today because of silly misunderstandings. We pray that Your love penetrates into our very souls and heals the wounds which run deep. May we believers learn to rebuke the devil and stay away from his tactics. Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You the leaders of our churches, countries, organisations and homes. We pray that they will be fine men and women who always listen to their conscience and have the guts to obey it, whatever may be the price. May Your Holy Spirit be with them every step of the way, building groups and people, not breaking them. Let them always be open to the cries of the people. Bring Your qualities of mercy, justice and honesty into their daily lifestyles. Strengthen those among us who are called to be leaders. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we pray for protection – from evil, strife, bad habits and any vile attacks of Satan. Protect our spirituality, families, friends, relationships, health, churches, ministries and jobs. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy instead of keeping us safe. Protect us from today in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Send St. Michael and our guardian angels to stand guard over us and our own. More than anything, keep us away from anything that cocoons us away from loving You and loving our brethren, freely. Amen
