Lord Jesus, we pray today for little children who are struggling to understand You and Your working in our tough, unfair world. We pray that our children are touched by Your Holy Spirit, so that they understand how to obey and honour You, even when life gives them tough knocks. Be with them every moment and send Your angels to aid them when they are in emotional, physical or spiritual danger. May they become real children of light. We give You complete control of our childrens’ lives right now, Lord Jesus. Claim them for Your own, forever and ever. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who deny the existence of You, our living God. May Your Holy Spirit convict them and bring them to repentance. We pray that every year they have lost will be regained for Your glory, for Your kingdom. Open the eyes of their souls that they may really see You. Let us Christians be used as instruments to bring the lost back into the fold. Keep us from losing the faith too. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who are longing for a job. We pray that these brothers and sisters will have the grace to pray and seek Your will when they apply for jobs. May they never lose hope when a rejection comes. May they have the will and the grace from You to try and try again without giving up. Provide them and their families with finances for their daily needs. Tell them every day what should be done with their time, their lives. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we pray that You preserve Your men and women in military service. We pray for truth, justice and human rights in the battle field. May our spouses, parents, brothers, sisters and friends who are risking their lives for our motherland, be blessed in a special way today. We pray for their spiritual walk, good health and longevity. May Your love sustain and encourage them through dark, anxious and lonely hours. We pray for the strengthening of their families and loved ones, facing daily challenges, while awaiting their return. A special prayers for the souls of war veterans...

Lord Jesus, help me to prioritise and be led by Your Spirit today. Give me discernment to know the difference between distractions and divine interruptions, which are an opportunity from You. When distractions tempt me, help me remain focused. When You interrupt me, give me grace to meet the opportunity. Lord I commit my days to You and ask You to establish only Your plans in my life. In the strong name of Jesus, Amen.
