Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who have special needs. Oh Lord who said, Your grace is sufficient for us, may Your strength be made perfect in our weakness. Lord, our loved ones born blind, lame, deaf, dumb or are bedridden – never get to enjoy normal lives. Lord, often life is difficult for these special people. They often feel depressed because they know that billions around the world can do something they cannot. You healed them all when You walked the earth. Heal and comfort our own special people today. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are mentally unstable. Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name we pray that they will be delivered and saved from destruction. Let schizophrenia, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, fear, psychosis, neurosis, manic depression and all kinds of mental illness be routed from our families and communities. Let them never harm themselves or others. Let them be set free forever from all emotional bondages, forever. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we pray for love – Your kind of sincere, gentle, giving, honest, consistent and sacrificial love to fill our hearts and lives. Thank You for Your love that surpasses all human understanding; the love which is food and medicine to our souls. Now help us pass it on, especially to our inner circle and those outside who need it the most. Let love not be manipulated or abused. A prayer for those whom we find hardest to love today. Amen.

Lord Jesus, on this day we pray for animals, birds and all other living creatures that You created to give us pleasure. We pray that these are protected and not abused. Forgive us Lord for the way we have hurt the living things around the world. A special prayer for our pets, who bring us great joy and for our dear ones like our children and the elderly – who have lost their pets. May us human beings learn to respect and love life – any creature that You created. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who live on this earth with no one to call their own. May Your love surround them and make them feel wanted, instead of rejected. Lord, bless the old and the young who long for a family. We pray that homes will be opened to young ones who are seeking adoptive parents. Forgive us the neglect or hundreds of orphaned people across the world. May all of us truly become one Christian family – with members accountable to and for one another. Amen.
