Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You, Your children who are suffering and in pain. Heal their emotional and physical wounds, Lord. When they cry out, may Your angels rush to their aid and soothe their brows. Give them the assurance that You are carrying them in Your precious arms, even when no body else does. When tears flow, give them Your strength, love and grace. Send them Godly cares to love them and nurture them. May no child of Yours go to bed feeling despair or suffering tonight. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we plead for Your protection – from the wicked, evil, strife, bad habits and any vile attacks of Satan. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy instead of keeping us safe. Protect us in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Send Your angels to stand guard over us and our own. More than anything, keep us away from anything that blocks us away from loving You and loving our brethren like you want them loved. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we say a prayer for the souls and memories of our beloveds who are dead. Assure us that their souls are in Your light. Let every unfulfilled dream and ache of theirs be dealt with here on earth. Lord, hug and comfort all those who are grieving right now; the ones left behind. May they feel You, Your love. Let Your angels on earth fill the roles the dead cannot fill anymore. We pray that all will be well, until we meet again in Your presence. Amen.

Lord Jesus, there is no one who uses the power of words to heal as much as You do. We pray for Christians who inflict deep wounds with their tongue, without a care for others’ feelings. We pray that the ones who are at the receiving end – can heal, forgive and forget too, by Your grace. May we too become the kind of people who are gentle and loving in our speech. Let the anger, unforgiving attitude and hatred melt away when we are touched by You daily. Heal our tongues, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those who were ripped apart in body, mind and spirit by rape, incest or sexual abuse of any kind. Dear God of endless love, ever-present, ever-just, bring healing to these sisters and brothers who faced such breach of trust, shattering pain and needless shame. Soothe their hearts and show them the way to healing, justice and wholeness. May they forgive and experience Your liberating peace from the Holy Spirit. Break the ungodly ties leftover from these acts and remove all traces of shock and trauma, with the Blood of Our Precious Saviour. In...
