Today, we pray for inner healing

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our wounds. Oh God who healed the sick, have mercy on us all. May Your love that surpasses all human understanding fill us, cleanse us and strengthen us. Remove from each one of us any deep inner wounds which we got right from the time we were conceived, up to this day. We pray that we can forgive and forget, and help heal the ones whom we have wounded too. Amen.

Today, we pray for random acts of love

Lord Jesus, we pass people every day who need a demonstration of Your love – friends, family, strangers. May we search for ways to show extravagant gestures of gracious love, and outlandish acts of kindness. Make us people who set a goal of doing daily deeds for which we cannot be repaid but in heaven. Set our hearts on fire for people who do not know You. Precious Savior, consume us with compassion for the desperate and downtrodden. Let us pour our lives out in Your kind of love – for our own first and to the rest of the world.

Today, we pray for those facing death

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You each man, woman and child, who is facing death today. We pray that Your Spirit strengthens and calms them, when they enter the valley of death. Give Your grace to those who are holding them and grieving, when they cross the barrier. May none of our dear ones die violent or untimely deaths and may we never have to face death in fear or loneliness. Amen.

The moment when one of us is labelled as bad or evil, or judged for our choices, may Your angels rush to our aid; to lift us up and to give us grace and courage. May we able to bear the insults better, knowing that the world did the same to You years ago. May we not judge, lest we be judged ourselves. Bless our harshest critics today. And heal us and dry our...

Today, we pray for couples in dead relationships

Lord Jesus, You created man and gave woman to him as a partner. We pray for those of us, especially Christians, who are living through the pain of ‘married singlehood’. Breathe life into our marriages, Holy Spirit. We pray that men and women can receive complete healing and deliverance by Your power. Bind the devil from abusing vulnerability and pain in a marriage. Heal wounds and help couples to forgive and move on. Bless and heal their children. And help us bring ourselves, our marriages and our partners – to You, daily and forever. Amen.
