Today, we pray for world peace

Lord Jesus, God of love, we pray that Your peace comes into our world today. Our world is torn by broken individuals, distant factions and fighting countries. We pray that Your touch heals each one of them. May the love that Your Holy Spirit gives cleanse individuals, faiths, groups. God bless us all. Amen.

Today, we pray over our losses

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You everything that we count as a loss in our lives today. The failed interview, our blocked education, the broken home, the lost relationship, the thwarted plans, the insulted friendship, the shattered dreams, the destroyed ministry and many more. Lord, when You breathe life into our losses, they become precious gains once again. Help us to recognise and thank You sincerely for that. Today, we pray for the unemployed

Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who are longing for a job. We pray that these brothers and sisters will have the grace to pray and seek Your will when they chase a career. May they never lose hope when rejection comes. May they have the will and the grace from You to try and try again without giving up. Provide them and their families with finances for their daily needs. Tell them every day what should be done with their time, their lives. Amen

Today, we pray for workers

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those among us who work for a living. The ones who hold jobs in all walks of life – men and women, old and young, rich and poor. We pray that all of us give hundred percent to our jobs and treat those as an opportunity to bring people close to You. May we glorify You, sweet Jesus, through our jobs. Bless our chosen careers with Your mighty anointing, daily. Amen.

Today, we pray for those who have left Your fold

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the ones who have left Your fold by willful choice. Lord, we pray for our dear ones who do not want to recognise You or worship You as God. We bring to You their doubts, anxieties, confusion and pain. We trust in Your mercy that they will be brought back and redeemed like pure silver. A prayer also for those of us who are standing by longingly and waiting for their return. Give each one of us Your power, grace and strength. Amen.
