Lord Jesus, we surrender to You those of us who are brokenhearted right now. Grief, rejection, insults, illness, loneliness, death, illtreatment, abuse, crisis, lack of spiritual nurturing – all these have left us broken and bruised. Only You can heal and repair our crushed spirits now, Jesus. Lord, help us understand that broken people break others. Help us forgive the ones who break us and let us cut this chain reaction of pain. We pray that Your Spirit will touch us and make us whole. Let our lives become testimonies of Your love all over again. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are being tortured for their faith in You. Lord, let Your mercy and healing flow – into the prosecuted and the prosecutors. May the ones who harm us, know that – to know You, is to speak about You. May Your name be glorified and spread across the world every second. A special prayer for the souls of those martyred for Christian faith and for their families. May Thy church grow without boundaries, my Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the oldest members of our families and society. We pray that Your presence comforts them in their loneliness. Keep them focused on You, rather than on their aches and anxieties. We pray specially for those who are living alone. Watch over our parents and grandparents, Oh Jesus. May they have angels for their aid whenever they are alone. Help us serve them well, all their lives. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we pray for those who feel lost and empty. On that Holy Saturday after Your death, the ones who loved You would have felt lost, alone and empty. They would have struggled to understand the situation. We pray for all those who, on this day, feel lost and empty in life and are unable to understand their broken situations. Be with them this day and comfort them as You lead them on to the resurrection experience. Amen.
