Lord Jesus, today we pray for the grace to be free from debt. Lord, help us honour You first with our money. Whatever we earn, let the first fruits be Yours. May our brothers and sisters who are facing loans, mortgages, crisis situations or loss of jobs – be helped in time, by Your wisdom. Provide us with opportunities to care with our money. Give us and our families, financial blessings. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You that one prayer which is dearest to our hearts. The silent one, the ache and the doubt that accompanies the wait for it to be answered. The one which we cannot share with anybody else in the world. Lord, sometimes we do not even know if its a right prayer in Your eyes. We are tired of the wait and the struggle. We pray that You will understand our silent prayer and honour the deepest desires of our hearts, if its in Your will. And make the wait end very soon. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we pray for those who are longing for a job. We pray that these brothers and sisters will have the grace to pray and seek Your will when they chase a new career. May they never lose hope when rejection comes. May they have the will and the grace from You to try and try again without giving up. Provide them and their families with adequate finances for their daily needs. Tell them every day what should be done with their time, their lives. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You people who are living away from their families and dear ones. We pray that the circumstances – poverty, job, stress within the family, strife, whatever may be causing partners, parents, children live separated by miles, to be sorted. We pray that by Your grace, they will be able to come together to worship in Your presence every day. May no Christian go to bed lonely. Let bondages that keep them separate be broken by Your mighty power. Amen.
Lord Jesus, God of love, we pray that Your peace comes into our world. Our world is torn by broken individuals, distant factions and fighting countries. We pray that Your touch heals each one of us. May the love that Your Holy Spirit gives cleanse individuals, faiths, groups. God bless us all. Amen.
