Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those who we bump into during our daily walk. The men, women and children we do not know, but who are all opportunities You provide for us to share Your love. May each person we meet see Christ in us. May Your Holy Spirit radiate and touch the lives of everyone we meet. Touch and heal them; and through the love we give, heal us all, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You individuals and organisations suffering from stress. Lord, You are the Lord over our emotions. Make us feel Your presence when we are anxious and disturbed. Clear the clutter and chaos in our lives. Bless events where people are struggling with last minute organisation, lack of support and unkind people. Let Your peace flow. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we pray for protection – from evil, strife, bad habits and any vile attacks of Satan. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy instead of keeping us safe. Protect us from today in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Send Your angels to stand guard over us and our own. More than anything, keep us away from anything that cocoons us away from loving You and loving our brethren. Amen.

Lord Jesus, You gave some of us this privilege and honour – to parent new generations. And we have been blessed with two amazing people to be a part of Your plan for us. We thank You for this precious blessing, Jesus. Thank You Lord, for giving us parents with the wisdom needed to raise children who worship and love You more than anything else. May our own parenting be the kind that honours You, our creator. Bless our parents Lord, especially the ones living all alone. May Your love surround them and may angels watch over them. Amen

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You each and every person who has broken our hearts, injured us physically or emotionally or hurt our dear ones. Lord, we make a decision to forgive. Please take hold of the pieces of our shattered hearts and make them whole again. Pour forth Your Spirit and give us the healing we need so badly. Wipe our tears tonight, when we are totally alone in this pain. Amen.
