Lord Jesus, today we bring to You every place on earth that is facing a natural calamity right now. Son of God who commanded the winds and the waves, please have mercy on our world. We specially pray for those affected right now by earthquakes, hurricanes, bad weather, power and water supply disruptions. A prayer of mercy for those who are travelling or stuck at strange places, unable to reach home and for their loved ones far away. Let Your protection keep us safe, Jesus. Amen

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You all our brothers and sisters who are disabled, paralysed pr comatose. We pray that You breathe healing into their nerves and bones. May each one of them experience the healing that the sick, the lame and the blind experienced when You lived on this earth. We pray also for the families and carers of these men and women – that they too may be strengthened by Your Spirit. Bless and heal them all. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to one of our greatest gifts You have given us – our families. Lord, the evil one is destroying families and close relationships. We pray that all families are protected and that strife is routed in Your mighty name. May members of families learn the importance of praying – together and for each other. And through the power of that prayer, may we always live in physical and emotional togetherness and love. Amen.

Lord Jesus, there is no one who uses the power of words to heal as much as You do. We pray for Christians who inflict deep wounds with their tongue, without a care for others’ feelings. We pray that the ones who are at the receiving end – can heal, forgive and forget too, by Your grace. May we too become the kind of people who are gentle and loving in our speech. Let the anger, unforgiveness and hatred melt away when we are touched by You daily. Heal our tongues, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to Your presence – our pregnant wives, sisters, mothers and friends – and their spouses. We pray that each of these men and women are mightily anointed to become Godly Christian parents who know that the baby is growing in the mothers’ womb and the fathers’ hearts. We pray that their babies are blessed. May the men who are to provide care and love, do so, with Your special touch. May Your angels, Saint Anne and Mother Mary give the mothers-to-be relief from their discomforts. Bless the women with safe and happy confinement and smooth...
