Today, we pray for our teachers

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You our teachers. As many students write their exams these weeks, we acknowledge the sacrifice and efforts of hours of dedication that thousands of teacher put in. Thank You Lord, for those who taught us everything – from discipline to sharing, from knowledge to integrity. We pray that each one of them is touched by You and cared for, in a special way. May good Christian men and women take up this commitment to become teachers. Bless their students to know You and about You, first and last. Bless their families too. Amen.

Today, we pray for our Pope Francis

Lord Jesus, today we – thousands of believers, humbly kneel at Thy feet and beg Thee to bless our Papa, as he marks one year of papacy. Lord, he is the father of a great fellowship of souls and our spiritual guide as well. We pray that he will always remain a man after Your own heart. Lord Jesus, source of eternal life and truth, give to Your shepherd a spirit of courage, wisdom and right judgement, as well as good health and Your protection. May he build Your church into a divine body that represents unity, love and peace...

Remove from each one of us any deep inner wounds which we got right from the time we were conceived, up to this moment. We pray that we can forgive and forget. Help heal the ones we have wounded too. Amen.

Today, we pray for those labelled bad

Lord Jesus, You are all about love, mercy and justice. When the world brands a person as a black sheep, please hold his or her hand. The moment when one of us is labelled something evil or judged wrongly by our dearest, may Your angels rush to our aid. To lift us up and to give us grace and courage. May we able to bear the insults better, knowing that the world did the same to You years ago. May we not judge, lest we be judged ourselves. Heal us of the pain of rejection and heal the ones who...
