Today, we pray for those who have left the Church

Lord Jesus, You created the Catholic and apostolic church to help us worship You unceasingly and with passion, holding fast to our traditions. We ask Your forgiveness for the divisions we have caused to Your body. A special prayer for the ones who have caused the rifts – the dead and the alive. Some of us have already left the fold and many others are dangling. Bring them back Jesus – only You can do that. Help us all come back, in unity and with fervour to one home church, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Today, we pray for everyone who has asked us for prayers

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You people who have requested our prayer support. The friend, the member of the family, the acquaintance, the colleague, the neighbour and the stranger – we bring them all to the foot of Your cross today, seeking that Your Holy Spirit will touch them, heal their hearts and refresh their spirits. Lord, sometimes we promise, yet we forget to pray. May each promise turn into a prayer right then, before Your eyes. Meet their needs today, Lord. May no prayer return unanswered. Bless them and their own. Thank You for giving us an opportunity...

Today, we pray for prisoners

Lord Jesus, today we pray for our brothers and sisters living imprisoned all over the world. Break the bonds of sin, fear and isolation that exist within their hearts and jail cells. We pray for more love, more forgiveness and more prison outreach ministries to help them heal. We pray they hear about You, Lord Jesus and for Your angels to aid their families. A special prayer for the innocent. Oh Divine Prisoner of the Sanctuary, hear their prayers and tears which rise to You from the confines of their walls. Amen.

Today, we pray for world peace

Lord Jesus, God of love, we pray that Your peace comes into our world. Our world is torn by broken individuals, distant factions and fighting countries. We pray that Your touch heals each one of them. May the love that Your Holy Spirit gives cleanse individuals, faiths, churches and groups. Let us become one in you, sweet Jesus. God bless us all. Amen.

Today, we pray for our enemies

Lord Jesus, You taught us a valuable lesson about loving those who hate us. We now pray for each person whom we have harmed and who has harmed us in any way, especially the ones who have stabbed us behind our backs. Sweet Jesus, let Your healing and love flow. A special prayer for old friends who are enemies today and for members of the same family who harbour enmity. Let Your love and peace be established. May we, Your children, stop hurting each other through our thoughts, words and deeds. Heal strife and bless each one of our enemies...
