Lord Jesus, today we pray that You preserve Your men and women in military service. We pray for truth, justice and human rights in the battle field. May our spouses, parents, brothers, sisters and friends who are risking their lives for our motherland, be blessed in a special way today. We pray for their spiritual walk, good health and longevity. May Your love sustain and encourage them through dark, anxious and lonely hours. We pray for the strengthening of their families and loved ones facing daily challenges, while awaiting their return. A special prayers for the souls of war veterans...

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You each man, woman and child seeking to find You through a retreat. We pray that those who desperately wish to attend a retreat can do so soon. Remove the hindrances, anxieties, people and negative circumstances that are blocking their plans. We surrender each person and their desire to know You fully – at the foot of the cross. May their cries reach Your ears today and may they get the total and lasting deliverance only Your Holy Spirit can give. Amen.

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the oldest members of our families and society. We pray that Your presence comforts them in their loneliness. Keep them focused on You, rather than on their aches and anxieties. We pray specially for those who are sick. Watch over our parents and grandparents, Oh Jesus. May they have angels for their aid whenever they are alone. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You each man, woman and child, who is facing death right now. We pray that Your Spirit strengthens and calms them, when they enter the valley of death. May each one of them receive the grace to know Your presence, the comfort of Your angels, the prayers of Your saints and have a peaceful death. Give Your grace to those who are holding them and grieving, when they cross the barrier. May none of us or our dear ones die violent or untimely deaths and may we never have to face death in fear or...

Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the weary ones – the ones tired of waiting for an answer to their prayers, a fulfilment of their greatest dreams and a breakthrough from the mundane. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will comfort and enrich their subconscious tonight and give them the lift they so badly need. Assure them that all is well. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
