Lord Jesus, God of love, we pray that great peace comes into our world with Your one touch. Our world is torn by broken individuals, distant factions and fighting countries. We pray that Your hands heal each one of them. Like the woman who touched the hem of Your garment for healing, we come to You in faith and blind, unwavering trust. May the love that Your Holy Spirit gives cleanse individuals, faiths, groups. God bless us all. Amen.
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You all the women who love us, pray for us, live with us, care for us and help mould us daily into what we are. We thank You Lord, for our wives, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, nieces and friends. May Your love and our love sustain them, all their lives, in a special way. We women pray for the grace to live God’s love better in this world. May the women folk in our families, churches, organisations and societies get the respect and care they deserve. Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You those among us who have a lukewarm relationship with You and Your people. Lord, You said that those who are neither hot nor cold would be spat out. We pray that we really begin to live out our Christian faith with the power of the Holy Ghost – with strength, honesty, love, passion, freedom and grace. May we also never become blind followers of the blind, but exercise Your wisdom and caution, when facing challenges in our faith walk. Bring Your Spirit alive in us – every day – give us a fresh...
Lord Jesus, today we bring to You each man, woman and child seeking You. We pray that those who desperately wish to attend a retreat can do so soon. Remove the hindrances, anxieties, people and negative circumstances that are blocking their plans. We surrender each person and their desire to know You fully, at the foot of the cross. May their cries reach Your ears today and may they get the deliverance only You can give. Amen.
Lord Jesus, we pass people every day who need a demonstration of Your love – friends, family, strangers. May we search for ways to show extravagant gestures of gracious love, and outlandish acts of kindness. Make us people who set a primary goal – of doing daily deeds for which we cannot be repaid but in heaven. Set our hearts on fire for people who do not know You. Precious Savior, consume us with compassion for the desperate and downtrodden. Let us pour our lives out into Your kind of love. Amen.
